The picture above shows how Sunfish St is right across from the beach.  While Doctors Orders is at the end of the street, it is still a very doable short walk.  Being at the end of a dead end street also adds another level of secluded privacy.  In addition to being secluded, the pool is completely fenced in.  This is unusual for the Destin area as you will see as you drive around.

Beach access to our private area is just across the street.  The Kokomo Kove homes share this beach access with the Sea Oats Motel. This motel is one of the original establishments in Destin and is only two stories.  You will notice nearly all other beach front motels are much, much larger. All those must share the beach, so having one of the smallest motels means we have fewer people sharing the beach.

The next picture illustrates this well.  Look in either direction, the crowds are down there, but not not on our private beach!.  The difference is about 10-1 compared to our private beach!

The walk down the street to the beach is enjoyable in itself.  Kokomo Kove is full of beautiful Live Oak trees as you see below.  The beach houses are also quite awesome as you will see.

We provide you with umbrellas and chairs as shown below.  The blue ones on the beach can also be rented by the day, but we provide you with 2 umbrellas and 4+ chairs.  We have Gorilla Carts and Chair buggies to haul your stuff down to the beach.  There is a storage shed under the house that has all the beach stuff locked up for your usage.  Lots of kids beach stuff, including boogie boards, 3 bikes, and our kayak are also under the house for your use!

The beach during the day with sunny blue skies is the main draw, but don’t neglect the sunsets at the beach.  They provide some of the most beautiful and romantic memories one can have!

Of course you can make all kinds of memories during your beautiful days at the beach!
